Europe 2014 is the name of the Youth exchange organized from 30 November until 9 December. The main objective is to work on European Citizenship and European Parliament election that will be held next June. Participants of this project are young people from Portugal, Italy, Romania and France.
We created a video and did a performance working and sharing idea together. We were in two groups to mix countries... and languages! Even if some of us weren’t speaking a perfect English, we always succeeded in communicating and expressing our points of view.
We had time to learn and understand about each other’s culture as well, which is always interesting and enriching. We had intercultural nights with typical food, songs and dances from our different countries. We spent time having fun, asking questions… and exchanging recipes!
We also had the opportunity to discover the beauties of Spain, travelling to Madrid, Toledo and San Lorenzo de El Escorial, where we visited Casa de la Juventud and had an interactive presentation about their activities. Now that the exchange is up to an end, we will use videos, photos and blog in order to continue disseminating our project.
