CLEANING UP THE WORLD WEEK-END

The week-end of the 17th to 19th of September the non-profit organization “Cleaning Up the World” who belongs to the United nations is organizing a worldwide activity to improve our environment.

It´s though that 35 million people from 120 countries are going to get involved in several activities to clean and protect our planet. If you want to participate it´s very easy (and you´ll have fun too), there are lots of thing you can do, for example, planting trees, cleaning a beach or the wood or even your own street.

In the web http://activities.cleanuptheworld.org/ you will find an interactive map where you can see all the activities planned that you can join or even you can sign in and post your own activity. You just have to meet some friends plan what you want to do to take care of our environment and DO IT!!!

Clean Up the World is a global campaign that inspires and empowers communities to clean up, fix up and conserve their environment. If you want to find more interesting information about what the United Nations are doing concerning the environment just go to this link http://www.unep.org/.

Remember that week-end you have a very good opportunity to finish your holidays helping to clean up the World.
